Hello! My name is Jennifer Keddie de Cojon, but I go by "Mrs. Keddie." I am excited to be teaching 3rd grade this year! I studied Elementary/Middle School Education at Judson University in Elgin, IL. I am certified to teach all of the core subjects and art as well. I also studied at MTEC to receive my Bilingual Certification. I have been teaching in the Waukesha School District for the past 6 years. Before coming to Waukesha, I lived in Guatemala for 6 years where I learned Spanish, taught at the Christian Academy of Guatemala, and taught ESL in public schools for several years.
Some of my favorite things to do are gardening, creating art and doing crafts, doing puzzles, playing games, and traveling. I have traveled to Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, El Salvador, Kenya, Jamaica, Israel, Egypt, Romania, Germany, the Dominican Republic, Canada, and to many parts of the United States. I also love to spend time with my family and my extended family. I met my husband, Paco, in Guatemala. We have been blessed with 2 beautiful children. Jeremiah is 8 and is a third grader in the Dual Language Program at Banting. Mikaiela is 3 and is a future Bobcat. We love living in Waukesha! 262-970-1276 [email protected] My Favorite Book - Mi libro favoritoOne of my favorite books is The Story of Ruby Bridges. I love this book because it is the story of a child who made a difference in the world. Children of character can change society!
