Math and Reading Intervention
I've had the wonderful opportunity to teach at Banting Elementary School for two and a half years. However, I have 17 years of teaching experience in both general and special education along with teaching online for The Wisconsin Virtual Academy and have taught graduate classes in Leadership and Curriculum and Instruction for Cardinal Stritch University. I have lived in Waukesha since I was in 6th grade except for my years in college.
I attended UW-Whitewater and earned a Special Education degree in the area of Learning Disabilities. Later, I earned my general education degree and Master's of Education in Leadership and Learning from Cardinal Stritch University Currently, I am working on my Reading Teacher License at Carroll University.
I love to read, spend time with my family, go boating, and go to concerts! My family includes my husband Josh, My daughter, Myah who is a sophomore, my 5th grade son, Jackson, and my foster son, Vic. We also share a lot of love with our dog named Katie. She is a riot! Some of my favorite books include The Giver, The Secret Life of Bees, and It Could Always Be Worse (An old Russian tale).
